Here are my blocks without any sashing triangles, next time I will have made a choice and will get them sewed on!!!
One distraction this last week was the latest issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects. LOVE IT! Major distraction!
Missy Carpenter's punch needle project is wonderful and she is giving away a years subscription, go to her blog, Traditional Primitives.
I really like it both ways, punchneedle or wool mat.
We have been having some very spsring-like weather here in Central Oregon. I know I shouldn't enjoy it so much but we did have snow last June. If it can snow in June it can be 60 degrees in January. Feels so good. I'm sure it will change this week.
Talk with you soon, Happy Stitching!

Love that flower quilt, Carrie! I also love the photo of the triplets; they are growing up. Seems like yesterday they were just tiny!
It has been cold and foggy here and annoys me when I know it's sunny so close by!
Love your blocks!! It's nice to think of spring flowers while making these blocks.
You have all but one block done. Way to go
I'll bet working on those flower blocks during the winter is a very cheerful thing to do! They look so good - you can never go wrong with Patek, right? I too, loved receiving my new magazine - lots of great projects...
Oops - I meant Linda Brannock (of course) - they're both great designers......
I haven't started my blocks for the flower quilt but today, I will be helping a friend decide on a fabric for a certain area. She purchased a kit for the quilt a good while back and is not satisfied with one of the fabrics. I am anxious to see what her blocks look like.
so blocks are so pretty.
